FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We want you to be aware that we rent in basically three different locations on the East Tennessee area. These areas are in Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. We recommend you research where your planned venues, before deciding on a location.
 
We also Have 1 bedroom to seven bedrooms. Be sure to identify the location of the property in relation to your interest or any events you plan to attend.

We maintain reservation calendars on all our cabins.

Once you decide on the location that is best for you we ask that you check our calendars for availability. Then contact Tina for the reservation at the numbers listed herein. Ken and Tina Gilreath own and operate KT Cabins. We have 7 rentals. Please do not hesitate to text or email Tina.

Rent

Once you agree to rent we require you to complete a rental agreement. The agreement details some of the items we expect you to do and not to do.

Deposit

We will take your form of a deposit at that time. Four weeks prior to your arrival date you will need to have your rent paid in full.
Approximately 2 weeks prior to arrival you will receive the door codes. These codes give you access to your cabin with instructions. You may arrive at or after 3PM and departure will be by 10 AM on the day of check out. A variance of this time may be available.

Maintenance

In the event of a maintenance issue, we will provide you with a contact. He will make every effort to resolve the issue by phone prior to making a trip to the site.

Internet and Cable

Internet and cable TV- All cabins have high-speed internet and cable or satellite TV. Issues are common wherein someone cannot access the internet or cannot sync the cable box and TV. Most often these issues resolved by phone. Again if it is an issue with the renter’s equipment there may be a fee.
Please refer to your rental contract for possible fees.

Extras

We supply linens and toiletries based on the cabin number of occupancy. These furnished as a startup only. Extended stay guest will need to obtain more as needed. We provide minimum cleaning supplies along with dish detergent. Laundry detergent is not supplied. You should find your cabin clean and a moderate temperature when you check in. We ask that you leave the cabin as you found it.

Cancellation of the rental by renter- Must be within 30 days prior to arrival time to receive a refund. We may require more time for cancellation to receive a full refund. This is mainly during holiday seasons and summer months.

We may consider smaller non-shedding pets. MUST be pre-approved by KT Cabins. A pet fee will charge in these cases and needs approval prior to rental.

Most cabins have hot tub’s. The tub drains and fills between rentals

We provide cabins with wood burning fireplaces. We provide wood from November 1 through March 1.

Not Allowed.
