Smokey Mountain National Park
There’s magic in the hills of Tennessee that you can only experience during the fall. Take a drive or hit the trails to see a beautiful fall color display you can’t get anywhere else.
Oktoberfest at Ober Sept 23-Oct30
Kick off the Smokey Mountain Harvest Festival with Oktoberfest at Ober. You will be surrounded by Bavarian-style music, food, and the best brews around.

Who doesn’t love some good ol’ Halloween fun? The Mysterious Mansion is one of those rare gems you have to check out in Gatlinburg. It’s fun for the whole family and will leave you will some fright-tastic memories.

Autumn Colors in the Smokies
Whether you’re in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, experiencing Autumn colors in the Smokey Mountains is a must on your activity list. We’re telling you, there is nothing like it anywhere else. Definitely make sure you have a full charge on your camera and phone to capture your adventure.
We know this is the third mention of fall in the Smokey Mountains, but we thought zip lining deserved its own shout out. Driving, biking, hiking, and horseback riding is cool and all, but zip lining through the mountains is a whole new level. Just think of the social media possibilities. No one will be able to top your zipping through the trees posts.
National Southern Gospel & Harvest Festival at Dollywood Sept 30 – Oct 29
Oh yes, my friends it’s finally here. Not much can beat a day of fun at Dollywood, except some great Southern Gospel and the entire park decorated for fall! Enjoy all the attractions with the sweet sound of Southern Gospel whisping through the air and more fall decor than your camera can capture.

This game of course made the list of fall activities to experience in Knoxville. If you have tickets or just planning to tailgate, this is one game you don’t want to miss. All our Knoxville cabins are only a short drive away from Neyland Stadium.

A corn maze should be everyone’s family tradition. Oaks Farm has the best maze around with tons of other activities to check out while you’re there.
We discovered this little nugget of awesomeness while finding a haunted house for this list. Now there are some great haunted houses in and around Knoxville, but none of them give you the chance to SHOOT ZOMBIES WITH PAINTBALLS! Talk about a great time.
